Cross-Processed Fuji Velvia 50 RVP: Keeps the Spirit of Your Scenes

A while ago I ordered Fuji Velvia 50 RVP 35mm color slide film because I liked the idea of getting very fine grained pictures it promises to deliver. It is a slow speed film that, if treated with xpro, features slight to medium versatile color shifts and very saturated colors. Compared to the Velvia ISO 100's typical red and purplish hues, cross-processing the Velvia ISO 50 brings you more subtle but still distinctive results. It's not the best choice for night photography. Now, the colors that it brings is what I like about it.

Wapping Woods

Wapping was originally a Saxon settlement. This area was known as a marshland until the 16th century when it was drained. It then became a rich meadow and garden ground until it was acquired for the London Docks. By 1969, the docks at Wapping were empty. Trees were planted and it was optimistically called Wapping Woods. However, the trees could not survive and the result is the small park we have today.

Jardin Majorelle was in my top 5 things to do anyway, so it was even better when our hotel's porter gave us complimentary admission tickets to this garden. Anywhere you go in Marrakech, it's worth taking a taxi.

Mt. Eden Park, Auckland

Mt. Eden Park in Auckland is made from an impressive former volcano crater and offers a great view over the whole area. It's perfectly safe to visit as it's already a dormant volcano - you can either enjoy a nice walk uphill or take a car if you're being lazy but once you get to the top, you'll quickly realize that all the effort is well worth it.

Goffertpark is an outdoor concert venue located in Nijmegen, The Netherlands. You can also find the NEC Nijmegen stadium here. It is sixty acres of woodland and heathland that was transformed into a spacious park which now includes a sports field, stadium, tea house, and even a zoo.

Fairy-tale looking mountainous region in Cumbria, North-West region of United Kingdom. Lots of people think of the UK as a babylon country of hustle and struggle, and eternal fog (you name it). They are always surprised to see the photos of enormously beautiful landscapes this country possesses. Lake District is one of its treasures.

Kew Gardens

Although the entrance is about £13.50 (children enjoy the free entrance), it is worth every penny! The Kew Gardens are picnic friendly, so it worth spending a whole day here. Winter or summer, there is always something going on. You can check the web site in advance to find out which particular flowers are in the bloom at the moment, or just come and explore.

Greens that leap out at you. Reds that are surely redder. Blue that gets turned up to 11. These are the amazing results that you'll get out f the Fuji Velvia 50! The colors are incredible - load up a roll and you will get great Lomography results that you're looking for!
