The coming of the Messiah (Deep Sea #3)

The key piece to my research mission into the deep sea was clearly the underwater robot that we used. Deployment and recovery in the open sea is a delicate thing. Quite emotional, because there are win or break decisions to be made. Everyone has to be on their feet and to do their chores. In this particuliar moment with the low standing sun the scene had something of the coming of a mechanical messiah, stepping down on the ship.
