I initially discounted this shot, because it was overexposed. It was my first shot of the day, and in my rush, I had forgotten to adjust the aperture and ISO. The camera was set to f8 / 50ISO instead of f16 / 800ISO. Later, though, reviewing the shots of the day, this was my favorite. The overexposed image perfectly captures the intensity of the yellow sunflowers, the vastness of the field, and the brightness of the midday sun.
