Riding up the Mall
Not sure what the occasion was but as we walked, north-east, up "the mall" we were caught up by a procession of well groomed horses mounted by military personnel clad in vivid red capes, glistening black boots and golden spiked helmets... A very impressive show of discipline from the horses who thought nothing of proudly and confidently trotting through traffic on Saturday morning.
