This was my first attempt at re-spooling film to red scale it, I chose some of my vast stock of Sainsburys 400 that expired 5 years ago, to see if I could work it out. Just one problem, no sellotape! so I used Superglue to join it together :D I know that solvent based glues give off all kinds of fumes, so worked fast in the hope the film wouldn't dissolve into a gooey mess before I could get it to the lab (errr... asda). Rattling through the frames quick sharp, I was done 'n' dusted in no time, and left it with the 16 year old in a luminous green polyester uniform for a dip in the c41. On returning, the child in charge apologized and explained that the machine had gone wrong damaging the film, so no charge. I kept quiet about the superglue and back to front emulsion shenanigans and escaped sharpish.
