Tell us about yourself. What do you do for a living? What are your interests?

I am a student of architecture and art [in an] institute. I like to draw nature and people in my sketchbook. I love my town, there are many beautiful places, which inspire me.

Describe the LomoKino in five words.

A camera that works wonders!

Summer Fairytale

How did you like shooting with the LomoKino?

In my head there is a story in which the details come later. I think beforehand what I will draw on the frames. I draw an animation on every frame separately without copying. My friend, sometimes, offers interesting ideas.

What or who has inspired you to purchase and use the LomoKino?

I love the 60’s; the style, music, and art inspires me. During those days, people were enjoying the moment. And for me, the Lomokino is a way to see the unique moment in your life.

From her film “Summer Fairytale.”

Any funny or strange encounters you’ve had with it?

People who see the LomoKino for the first time do not understand how this little thing can create a movie. Some people change their attitude towards film and it makes me happy.

If you could shoot any person alive or dead (or imaginary) with your LomoKino, who would it be and why?

If I could shoot anyone or anything with my LomoKino, I would like to shoot the first rehearsal of The Doors.

Kindly share to us any LomoKino movie you love the most.

I love the movies of arnaudmartin! I like “The Incredible Story of Dr Lomotnik”, “Jambie” and other movies.

Any future plans with your LomoKino? More shoots or a full-length film perhaps?

Ideas come suddenly and now I’m waiting for my muse. I can say two things for sure; I will continue to shoot with the LomoKino, and animation in my videos will be necessary.

Your advice to future LomoKino users.

To get an interesting and beautiful movie, I advise to buy more than one film than you should. When I first brought the film in the photo salon to scan it, half of the shots has been cut. And still need to pay attention to lighting. Good luck!
