Cyanotypes are a fun and easy way to make prints on paper and textile. But perhaps the bright blue color of a cyanotype isn't really your thing? No problemo! With everyday things like coffee and tea you can turn your cyanotypes from bright blue to warm brown.
My list of resolutions for 2015 consists of 12 projects, one for every month. March was for caffenol. You have probably heard of the amazing fact that you can develop black and white photos with coffee, sodium, and vitamin C. I had tried this before but with less than stellar results. Somehow, there's always something going wrong. Time to devote a few rolls to caffenol to finally get the hang of it.
We took a trip to Hampton Beach to look at these magnificent sand sculptures. Hampton Beach is gross though...

To directly compare the Cosina CX2 with the Lomo LCA, i should habe taken exactly the same fotos. Agfa ASP 400s is a great film, that i like! The Cosina works as well as my Lomo LCA, so i have not yet decided which on i prefer (must I? No!) - these fotos are from a trip to Berlin in August 2015

When people asked me, how was Africa? It's pretty difficult to answer. I want to say it's been an experience AMAZING but I can't, cos so many people have died. It really hit me one afternoon, where we visited a local cemetery when our Ebola victims were buried. As I walked between the fresh graves, I could feel how soft the soil was and I just couldn't stop thinking, yes, there's somebody underneath. This is real.
