shared by vicuna on 2016-05-302nd album about Verdun, battlefield of the first world war. The battle took place exactly 100 years ago and visiting the fields, the cemeteries and forts where this battle took place reminds of the horror and absurdity of the war. Over 500 000 people were killed during the 10 months of this battle. Nobody really won and the battle was in fact totally useless and unnecessary...

shared by ishifishy on 2016-06-24My darling Lubitel has gotten its focal length mixed up, I think it is focusing infinity on the 2 m point :( Anyway, still love the photos from the Algarve :) :) And the colors of cross processing the Kodak Ektachrome 64T EPY are fantastic as always <3

Lodhi Gardens
shared by ishifishy on 2014-01-24Such a fantastic idea to build a beautifully landscaped garden around heritage monuments, as a way to protect and yet keep open to the public. Not to mention, such a huge open space in the heart of the capital city. A Xpro film in the Diana, a few light leaks, sunset time, magnificent architecture and a walk with dad - PERFECT !!!

Stavasanden, the Stava beach
shared by sierravictor on 2013-06-30First attempt with the technic called microclics. I advanced the film 5 clicks for every take and aimed 25 degrees more to the right (from left to right) for every take. I used a tripod with markings for every 5 degrees so it was easy to be accurate. I levelled the tripod with a level(?). See this link for info about the microclic-technic and the similar technic for panoramas: http://www.squarefrog.co.uk/techniques/microclicks.html

shared by qrro on 2013-09-05We (my girlfriend and I) had the idea of a "good bye" album because she was going back to the states and we are not gonna see each other until december. We tried to represent how she would leave and I would stay.

Chuo Freeway
shared by hodachrome on 2011-10-20Expose lower half first, and set a tripod upside down and expose upper half in the same way as 1st shot. To turn tripod 180 degrees, I used two panheads. About 10 seconds each. Using a cable release and black adhesive tape (to mask the light sensor of LC-A+). Vivid blue or purple colours are by trucks decorated with light bulbs. Needed patience and concentration...
