  • Prints I made in the darkroom

    shared by laurasulilly on 2011-05-17

These are scans of various shots I processed and printed in the darkroom on Baryt or PE paper, taken with my Holga, Minolta x-700 and Pentacon Six... If you print 6x6 middle-format on paper, you can easily get a nice Polaroid-like format! These pictures were taken with a splitzer made from my Holga lens cap. I cut out a quarter of it and just kept turning and twisting. Some turned out nice, some didn't.. Oh well, that's the joy of experiments, right?

    shared by ohpleasedontgo on 2011-12-21

After making a lomo collage for the Clever Collage Rumble (take a look at my tipster: http://www.lomography.com/magazine/tipster/2011/11/26/the-making-of-meet-me-at-the-rabbit-hole) I couldn't stop thinking about making another collage. I love the idea of creating a dream world with my own pictures. So here's my second one

  • Where the wild things are- doubles

    shared by ohpleasedontgo on 2012-03-06

A while ago I had an idea for doubles, but the first try failed, as the first layer wasn't visible at all. Then, a few weeks ago I bought an old Minolata X300 at the second hand shop. It is my first SLR camera and I thought I should give the doubles a second try. For the first layer I shot text and pictures of '' where the wild things are'' (which is one of my favorite books & films) on a black computerscreen in a complete dark room. The second layer was shot at the beach in Scheveningen. I am really happy about the results and I hope you like them too! Thanks to @bloomchen, who answered all my questions about doubles :)

  • First try with night shots

    shared by ohpleasedontgo on 2012-04-23

Some night shots I took at the fun fair a while ago. It was my first try with night shots/long exposure and I am pretty happy with the results. However, for now this will be my last fun fair as well as my last b&w album. I am craving for colour shots now! Hope I will find the time to shoot again soon.

The film is expired 1979, the year in which I was born. Around my 34th birthday I exposed the film on Iso 25 or Iso 50 with an orange filter. Actually this film is developed in E-4 but I used C-41 (25°).
