    I have an arette ib with a very nice xenar 45mm -- unfortunately the shutter fires only every second time, I do not know how to fix it, so it hasn't been in use for 9 years

    @aleatorius Have you tried a few drops of lighter fluid? Apply carefully with a syringe into the shutter. Might work. Of course the best thing to do is to send it off for a proffesional service. But not many camera service providers nowadays. Good luck anyway! :)

    and 45mm instead of usual 50mm is quite an advantage for this xenar, very tempting to restore it
