Test roll on 12 years expired Tri-X

This experiment was a disaster waiting to happen. The film was a bulk roll that I had to load into bulk machine, then roll into a canister, then shoot and self develop. Worked out ok if you ignore the fact that most shots are boring.

Do you have some pieces of original Star Wars series? My Brother-in-Law and a good friend are crazy for the original 70's and 80's toys.

@neanderthalis sadly no. I had more of it than I could count in the 80's. most of it was sold, traded or destroyed over the years. in the 90's I picked up a few of the micro machines medium sized ships (I believe they were called 'action fleet') and have recently bought a few newer items in sales for my kids. this is one of them. the detail on them is phenomenal.

I think a guilty advantage of having a child is "getting to play" with toys again.

@neanderthalis no I'm far too adult for that, you'd never find me rolling around on the floor making lightsaber noises with the kids. No. Oh hang on, yes you would.

@neanderthalis just picked up a 90's X-Wing for my boy. It's essentially the same as those we played with, but with more colours and sounds, when I get around to rewiring it.

@neanderthalis I feel a sequence of nostalgia shots coming on... perhaps a series of shots based on the idea that Star Wars was made in the 40's or somewhen in black and white... ;)

@adam_g2000 Sounds like a lot of fun. I look forward to seeing your first run. I wish I still had some of my old toys. My parents were not much into keeping those. My oldest toys I still own are a few matchbox style cars from the late 70's. My action figures ended up in the charity box I am sure.
