The “Jaleo”, or the Menorca Horse Festivals

This summer I have been to Menorca, my favorite island, for the zillionth time. Not only am I really curious about its beautiful and idyllic coves, but also about the way every village on this super Mediterranean island celebrates its fiestas. First celebrated in the 14th century, the Jaleo consists of making horses dance among the crowd while an orchestra plays the same song over and over again.

F64 Studio in Bucharest has a surface area of 1,300 square meters, making it the largest photo store in Romania. A three storey building is split into several areas such as a photo studio, exhibition place, relaxation space with a photo bookstore and fish tank, creative space and children’s playground. The space has a capacity to display approximately 5,000 products.

My friends and I went out for a summer picnic. We choose to visit Sukuh Temple in Karanganyar, Central Java, Indonesia. Sukuh temple is different from another temple in Central Java, especially with its architecture. It looks like a Mayan temple.

The shop “Three Sitting Birds” first opened its doors in Nicosia in September 2011, aiming at introducing Lomography to Cyprus and bringing film photography back to life. I believe that an art movement like Lomography is essential and could inspire communities to evolve and create and I would love my shop to be part of that process.

Lx Factory in Lisbon: From Fabric to Dreams

Born in 2008, in place of an old fabric factory (and many other things along the years), Lx Factory just breathes creativity. In this small place there are restaurants, little shops, nice coffee houses, model agencies, dancing and acting studios and so much more! It even has the best place in Lisbon to develop film especially if you have a Lomo camera...and art is everywhere!
