Pictures Inside My Head

What will happen when silhouette meets multi-exposure?

One fine day, I was out with my cute tiny yellow Holga, strolling along the nearby beach garden, waiting to see what fun I can get a hold of. It was an extremely sunny day, and I was thinking to myself, this is perfect for photos. But then I had the idea to cover the sun before snapping away.

Then I thought of doing multi-exposures next. I took my hat off my and hung it on a tree, pointed the camera to my face, and released the shutter. And this is how I took the photos a lot people now love!

I was over the moon when I went to pick up the developed film from the lab. I imagined that the result would be amazing. And they were!

Now it’s your turn to try it. Let’s start a special project. Let’s call it “Picture in Me.”

Again, all you have to do is stand with the sun behind your back, release the shutter with the camera pointing at yourself. After that, without advancing the film, shoot anything that interests you.

Perhaps take a portrait of your beautiful girlfriend if she is on your mind. When she sees this, I bet she’d swoon.

If you have too many things on your mind, then you don’t have to care about what you’re shooting.

You’ll also love how it looks on a Lomowall.

Hope to see you work soon!

Awesome! You can get a similar effect by shooting a dark plain thing first (think grass in the shade, etc) and then doing a full-exposure shot, all of the "dark parts" will show the pattern of the first thing you shot.
