Name: Anniek Kortleve
City: New York City
Country: America
Please introduce yourself to the community. What do you do in your free time and what do you do for a living?
I've been a full-time model for 2 years. That takes up most of my time. In February last year found my apartment in New York and I now spend most of my time there.
Tell us about the life of a model.
It is only in the evening that you will learn about what you'll be doing the next day. This can vary from an appointment to meet a customer to: "Hey, you're flying to somewhere tomorrow."
What makes you happy?
Quiet days when you're waking up yourself (without an alarm) and having a cup of coffee.
How did you get in touch with Lomography?
On my birthday in 2009 I got a Lomo Fisheye. His first adventure was a trip to Rome for school. He really enjoyed that, just like me! Rome is a packed city and it's some much fun to be, for example, able to photograph a whole building even though you're standing very close to it! All because of that pretty fisheye lens.
How has it been with your Baby Fisheye 110
Taking pictures was a very pleasant experience. The most exciting part is, of course, the moment when you find out whether the photo is actually developed and can be seen on the negative.
Why is the Baby Fisheye 110 the perfect Lomo camera?
This camera is so small that you can always carry it with you in your bag!
Can you describe the Baby Fisheye 110 in 5 words?
Small, light, easy, a conversation opener and cute!
What did the people around you thought of your analogue camera and photos?
I took him along to a lot of photo-shoots and everyone wanted to try him out! Just looking through the lens itself is nice as well.
What was your strangest, funniest, or hands-down greatest Lomographic experience so far?
The Baby Fisheye went along when I was on the show of Jean-Paul Gaultier in Paris. While I took a picture, a backstage photographer took a shot of me!
What do you love to photograph?
Icelandic landscapes! I recently flew from Reykjavik and from my airplane window it already gave such a big impression!
What is your Golden Rule for future Baby Fisheye 110 Lomographers?
Sunlight, sunlight, and more sunlight! Wait until the sun comes out — it is really worth it.
