Tell us about yourself. What do you do for a living? What are your interests?

Hello to everyone! I’m an electric engineer and I work for the installation world.
More precisely I’m the head of technical office and budges. Isn’t the most funny job, so I focus all my creativity in photography and in the patchwork.

How long have you been a Lomographer and how did you find out about the Community?

I’m a member of this community from short time relatively. In August I celebrated my first year and that’s when I bought my first Lomography camera, a beatiful Diana F+ MR. Pink. From that day I jumped in the analogue world.

I discovered Lomography through a digital blog, which talked about the release of a new camera called the La Sardina, and that one thing led to another.

Describe the LomoKino in five words.

Creative, unpredictable, funny, analogue, and cinema.

How did you like shooting with the LomoKino?

With tripod and planning! Well, here’s what I want to explain. The first time, I used the LomoKino was just like [the time] I used anyof my other cameras in which the results was a bit disastrous (and they are not published.) So I decided to think a bit more about all the stuff, on the advice of my friend guanatos.

What or who has inspired you to purchase and use the LomoKino?

To be honest, it was a birthday gift of my boyfriend and I never expected that. So the inspiration came slowly. I like shooting with a lot of people, because it is a great experience and what have this camera always gets the better of everyone

Any funny or strange encounters you’ve had with it?

Like I said before, my beginning with the LomoKino was tough. My first two films were out of focus and I just don’t know why. A good example of that is “Una Mañana En El Parque” which was my first LomoKino film. After that, the film got better! It’s just a matter of patience and perseverance .

In the filming of “Afternoons in Barcelona” people watched us in Parc de la Ciutadella, which is a very touristic zone of the city. Plus people waited in the stairs next to the fountain as we finished our filming. They took some photos of us on the sly!

If you could shoot any person alive or dead (or imaginary) with your LomoKino, who would it be and why?

Mmmmm, that is a hard question. The first thing that came to mind is to be present in the making of the three films of The Hobbit (by Peter Jackson) and to do a makingin 100% analogue and also to film in New Zealand. It’s amazing!!!

Kindly share to us any LomoKino movie you love the most.

Of the three published films, which I love most is “Afternoons in Barcelona,” mainly because we enjoyed so much in the park and because that was the most improvised film.

Any future plans with your LomoKino? More shoots or a full-length film perhaps?

Nowadays, I’m working in the edition of a fantastic short movie we filmed a few weeks ago, I guess in a month it will be done because we have to work on BSO. Will be my first small-great- production.

Your advice to future LomoKino users.

Patience and prepare a little script or storyboard. It is a fresh and funny camera but the film ends so quickly. ;)
