Diana F+ Gold Edition: A Golden Companion

I was lucky enough a few months ago to win my first ever Lomography magazine competition, The Rock My Wedding x Lomography Rumble. The totally awesome prize was a great day in London having a photo shoot with 2 other awesome Lomographers and their companions, Heidi from Lomography UK, 5 of the best photographers in the UK all armed with a selection of Lomography Cameras and of course, my lovely girlfriend Lucie.

But I feel the real prize out of all of this was winning one of my new best friends: The Gold Edition of Diana F+ herself! Here is a picture of us happy together (photo shot by the lovely miss Jolly).

I was so excited to get this camera as this was the first time I’d ever used medium format, but I didn’t let this intimidate me and I was quick to load a roll as soon as I was given my Diana Gold on that day and start shooting! I chose Lomography CN 100 film as I wanted to give the Lomography film a road test too and I loved this winning combination. Here are some of the pictures I shot in London!

My first impressions of Di was great on that day, we had fun together in London getting to know one another and i went home happy with my prize and lucky for me she came back to my place with me.

But then it wasn’t until 2 days after when i took Diana out for our second date when we really hit it off, i took her for a walk through the woods and really started to click. The bright sun bought out the best in her and I really began to enjoy having her by my side. The way she looked in the sun with the light bouncing off her golden body just looked gorgeous! Here are some pictures of that day!:

I also messed around with some multiple exposures and the results were amazing!

I haven’t yet tested the pinhole function. But i can’t wait to try it!

So, to close my review about the Diana F+ Gold Edition, only good things can be said about this camera and it will really see you striking gold with your pictures. I know that i will definitely be seeing Diana more and i will be taking her out again very soon!
