Make people smile - Instax Photos for people that hardly see any photos

Travellers usually take lots and lots of pictures. But why always only take and not give pictures? To places in India, where people hardly see photos from themselfves, like e.g. here in the mountains on the highway from Manali to Leh, I was getting out my Diana F+ with an Instant back. People were very positively surprised to see their faces on a small instax picture (instead of annoying digital displays) that they may even keep (unlike digital photos). But bring plenty of instax film - once the people notice about this "magic" they are very keen to pose and get nice photos, of them, of friends, of them with friends, with family,... I got a very grateful goodbye and went on with a smile through the mountains! :)
