Former Pilot's Cottage.

Built by Wellington Provincial Council in 1866 the former Pilot's Cottage is nestled beside Worser Bay, is named after the first pilot, James Heberley who, when asked about the weather would reply," It is getting worser and worser." Heberley would pilot sailing ships into Wellington Harbour. This cottage is the oldest European home in Wellington. Thanks to the owner Mr. Louisson, who gave permission for me to photograph his historic home.
