Tokyo is a testament to what humankind can achieve. Whenever I walked its streets, I feel like a dust surrounded by giant sand castles - or like the little boy in Abbas Kiarostami’s “Where is The Friend’s House?” In a place such as Tokyo, it is easy to get lost, both literally and figuratively. I’ve always been an early bird, a 4 am kind of early bird. I was raised that way. It’s one of the things I keep with me wherever I am, like a compass that redirects me whenever I begin to slightly sway away from my path and get… lost. #35mm#blackandwhite
