Badbea old village

The Highland clearances was a forced displacement of population during the 18th and 19th century. Landlords cleared their land from their tenants to practice extensive sheep raising and evicted sometimes brutally the whole population from the place they lived on. They had then to find a new place to live, finding refuge on the most difficult lands of the highlands, along the cliffs, where only heath and ferns can grow. Today, there are still remains of these "clearances villages" ...

this pink undertone disturbs me:) 4 years working at a photo lab never left me I guess:0 Overwise, stunning albums, all of them!

@neja well, that's how the Epson V800 scanned the lomo CN400... didn't play with the settings, not really expert with this...

@neja Silverfast's "negafix" is sometimes a bit annoying as you can't get rid of it and whatever preset of film you're choosing, sometimes it's not easy to get a kind of "neutrall" scan (if, in any way, it's possible to have a "neutral" scan...)

I know! my v700 does the same, really hate it. Used to be much better but with every new update it becomes worse and worse:( as I am allergic to that pink undertones, I usually try to get rid of it in Photoshop (control B- colour management).

@neja yeah, the canoscan software was better for that! And the most annoying is for x-pro, as silverfast doesn't like the crazy color shifts and gives them a very ordinary negative look...

I also find v700 struggling with red colour in general, red flowers and other stuff just come out like agressive spots without any details ((

The Epson scan software tends to give some more interesting results for x-pro, but is so slow and unpractical to use.... do you know any other good scanning software for Epson scans?
