Walking around in the city of Emile Combes

A short stop in Pons, a little charming city, where my son's godfather is living. It is also the city where Emile Combes was born, a very important politician in french history. He decided to separate in 1905 the state from all religions and mainly from the catholic church, setting up the french concept of laicity or secularism, which is still one of the most important values of France today. Pons is as well an important step on the pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela.
