My brother's friends - love the "Elvis Curls"

These photos were done either in 1960 or 1961 by my older brother. It was most likely a Kodak Isolette Camera where you could switch from 6x6 to 6x4 format - these negatives had the 4x6 format which challenged the scanning a bit. It was 60 or 61 where my father had a BMW 700, but kept the BMW Isetta which was used by my mother - and later even by my older brother till 1968 (from 1954)! The BMW 700 just lasted three years and was replaced with a more comfortable family car.

    @charliedontsurf Thanks - yes, we tend to remember the good old times; and that is good! However; any time had it's beauties but also challenges. Music is a good indicator: I remember when my brother played "Nothing but a Hound Dog" from Elvis on his Elac record player it was almost a scandal. When I started to put on Santana's Jingo on my Telefunken Stereo record player (some 8yrs later) my father found this beautiful (so the old folks learnt) but was "challenged" by my older brother (he almost went crazy when I listened to the 8 minute recording of CCR's 'Keep on choogling'...) and when my children were 15 or 16 they started with the Wuh Tang Clan....and I went crazy...(-;
