Baltic Sea – Pinhole Day

Yeah, I know, I'm a bit late for Pinhole Day and the photos are quite dark and gloomy, but it was my first try with this camera...

I love the effect you got from your first try at pinhole photography! How long was your exposure in this shot?

@briany I used the app Pinhole Assist as a light meter and I remember that the app suggested somewhat around 1 second, which seemed a bit short for me. So I doubled the time to 2 seconds, which was obviously still to short. But anyway, I also like this gloomy effect.

@fruchtzwerg_hh Thanks so much for the info! I am planning to try some pinhole shots with my new Diana Instant and was thinking somewhere around 1 to 2 seconds as a first try. I also never thought that there would be a light meter app but I guess I should not be surprised. :)

@briany It seems there is an app for almost everything nowadays.... But there are some very helpful Diana pinhole exposure guides and nope, you don't need an app, it's all analogue, just print it out: www.flickr.com/photos/arthurliao/2507441637/
