One of the most famous and impressive landmarks of the Isle of Wight are the chalk rocks in the sea (The Needles) with their lighthouse. This is the most western part of the island. Of course, my fox had to see this! Note: There is a helicopter pad on top of the lighthouse in order to provide access in bad weather. Flying an helicopter in a storm on that thing is one task, getting out of it and in the lighthouse another ;-)The nearby bay is Alum Bay from where a ship can be boarded to take you to the Needles and around the bay. Most enjoyable on a day like this !
