   What is the name of the instrument? A relative of the banjo? Moveable frets like a sitar?

   @lomoderm Hi ,

   The name of the instrument is Cümbüş and it is originally from Turkey. It is indeed very similar to American Banjo :).

   I personally don't play it the guy in the picture is my friend, I play the flute :). He lives in a small town in the Negev desert near a big crater and it's always a very spiritual place to play - I would recommend it to you as well if you ever come to this part of the world :)
