   The U.S. government(Dems and Reps) promote higher education. IMO, Dems want you to realize your idealistic dreams, while Reps want to create ideal citizens. Economics, which both parties want to ignore, simply shows that unless their is a true demand for your career degree, then the money or even the job will not be there.
