Smoke on the water

It is estimated that British Columbia is suffering its worst wildfire season is 60 years. Since April 1, 2017, there have been 892 fires consuming almost 600,000 hectares of land and forest, 127 of which are still active. Thankfully, there have been no fires in my area to date. However, I have been under a smoke cloud for over a week now with the sky an ashy grey and the sun a ball of orange. These were shot around noon on August 5, 2017. you got a ton of detail for the amount of smoke and haze we're having! Well done, my friend, and i hope you are all quite safe on the cove

Thanks @lorrainehealy. You likely got thicker haze than I did. I know it was thicker around Howe Sound than up here and I was speaking to some people from Seattle on the ferry who said they thought it was thicker at home. We have been lucky so far to have had no fires up here!
