Church of Dimitry on the Blood

Dimitry on the Blood Church - built on the picturesque steep bank of the Volga temple Uglich Kremlin, which means the place of the murder of Tsarevich Dmitri Uglich.
At the site of the murder of Tsarevich Dmitry in the first years of the XVII century it was cut down a wooden chapel. In 1630 it was replaced by a wooden church, and the existing and current stone church was built in 1692. The temple is located on the banks of the Volga in the north-eastern part of the Kremlin.
