Moor at Esterwegen, Emsland on BW

This was one of those white days. Everything in the wide land appeared bright and shinning. This beautiful landscape was used to "kill by work" in the nearby concentration camp (www.gedenkstaette-esterwegen.de/) during 1933 - 1945. The 15 small camps in the Emsland area where used as early test runs for the "full featured" sites in Auschwitz, Buschenwald or Dachau. Have a look at @vikkki album - some days earlier in rainy weather (www.lomography.com/homes/vikkki/albums/2109004-memorial-pla…).
