Taken with Flash

Developed with a slightly modified caffenol CM-RS recipe. As a stock formula I’ve been finding caffenol a bit too gloopy and can leave marks on the edge of the negative, So I’ve been experimenting with half strength (1+1) formulas and doubling the development time. I used the Massive DEV Phone app to get some guidelines. I developed this film for 30 mins at 20 degrees agitating first for 1minuet then for 10 seconds every 2 minutes. This was based on caffenol-C-M (stock) developing time of 15 minutes for Tri X, set in the Massive DEV app. I used natural light from a nearby window, with slow exposures and a tripod, but went hand held for two shots and used a Nikon SB27 speed-light flash. The flash ones are actually my favourites.
