    Thanks @peter_frank - I was really trying to heat the film to stretch it out, not letting the flame touch the film. The heated film produced colour shifts from green to yellow and black to purple and blue. The spots that got really hot blistered with red dots. The only part that touched the flame for was the edges, they did catch fire but would quickly burn out or I would blow them out. I am working on a blog/article on this and will show the stages of the processes.
