Still trying to figure out what happened with this set of photographs, basically they’re all underexposed by several stops, some even more. I’m still learning how to use my light meter and are pretty sure I had it set wrong. I’m also still getting use to this Mamiya with its waist view finder. As a result I spent a lot trying to increase the exposure through my scanner, I also had to do some serious cropping. The low exposure seems to exaggerate the effect of the graduated colour filters, which give an uncanny, dreamy feel to the images (but it’s not really what I set out to achieve). Oh well it’s another lesson learned in my photographic odyssey.
