these pics have been taken with a very old (1930) Deckel Muchen Compur camera that I have found out in a flea market in in Lozère. I think that I have resolved the troubles with the light leakage but now I have unexplained troubles with focus.... If you are interested to know how this camera looks like you have almost the same here : www.flickr.com/photos/kuuan/3008080762/ ... and I also added a poor quality pic of the camera just as a document. Kind regards, JeanLouis

This is my favourite shot in what is a very respectable album - especially considering the vintage of the camera. Odd that the focus is fine in some shots and not others: assuming there was no human error involved (e.g. resulting from the effects of a totally forgivable mid-day Pastis under that old Montpellier sun ;-), perhaps there was some slackness in the film roll, causing it to sit unevenly across the focal plane? Anyway, the shots are mostly great, so congrats to you!

You've gave me a good explanation (the one about the film tension, not the one about the pastis, even I am a coffee addict which induces camera vibrations...). That could explains why this specific pic is perfect: it was the first one of the roll. Then others have focus problems and incurved vertical lines. An other good explanation givent by Pete in a comment could be that the lens are not perfectly perpendicular to the film because I did not properly unfolded the camera. Anyway, thank you for your kind help and have a nice day in UK..... jeanlouis
