    Well that's called cropping :) @adash

I was hoping you had modified it....I was thinking about tricking my Pentax MZ-30's electronic brain and making it wind less than full frame at a time...

That would be awesome but I have never tested that.
I guess its not that extremly hard to do on a old camera like the Spotmatic.
But it would be a lot of tinkering and the camera can oly be used that way after that.
Full frame can always be cropped in the computer or even in the darkroom so the only reason I can se to do this would be to get more pictures on a roll.
The 135 film I use cost 40 euro for 30m so its very far from expesive and thats kinda kills the ide for me. @adash

Yeah, but good slide film is very expensive, and modern pentax lenses aren't made to cover the whole full frame. If an electronic camera is modified, then probably the added electronic circuit can be switched on and off.....Just an idea so far....

Can only speak for black and white film but I can't say I see much image quality improvment on expensive film.
Unless your want to press the film, some films are way better for that then others.

The best slr cameras was made in the 70s to 90s after that it was a free fall down to the abyss :)
    With some few exeption. @adash

Indeed, I am happy with any B&W film of good speed, but I was referring to COLOUR slide film, which is very expensive. Regards: Dimitar
