4x5

My Graflex investment. I got a really sweet deal on a rough 4x5 with a lens. Bought some holders, developing tanks, sheet film, instant back, and some instant film. I did a little test with sheet film; came out fine. But the instant film drives me nuts.

Great shot, how are you liking the graflex? I was just looking at one and thinking about getting into the 4x5

(@kangiha) I bought that thing months ago. I spent a ton of time cleaning it up and fixing it up. Someone found it at an estate sale; I bought it for less then $90 bucks. Spent hours patching up the bellows with liquid electrical tape. Then I realized; I dont have a practical way of scanning or making prints with it. I figure I'll just have it for when it's time. I have a packet of Dektal; so maybe I'll get some 4x5 positive paper from B&H and give it another shot. I find 4x5 to be a really steep investment. Maybe when I'm a little old man I'll start a gallery and shoot large format then.
