Portavadie is a modern 1970s-era village on the Argyll coast of Scotland, built but never occupied to take advantage of the coming oil boom in the North Sea. Today the buildings, which were fully wired and plumbed, are slowly decaying and infested by bats, but they have been given extremely artistic graffiti. This was a place I long wanted to visit, and running the Pentacon Six against the Lubitel 2 also demonstrated just how good the Lubitel stands up against a top of the line 120 film camera.
