My poor old LC-A refurb has been inconsistent of late. The shutter stops firing at random, and I've had a few rolls of film developed only to find out that they'd never seen a moment's light. I borrowed my sister's LC-A to test it out, as she'd been having trouble getting hers to fire too. A bit of fiddling with the battery tabs did the trick, and I shot this roll without any issues. But even as I write this, my own beloved Lomo Kompakt Automat is sitting jammed on the desk in front of me, and no amount of disassembling, reassembling, fiddling or swearing is enough to get it shooting again. I've tried everything I can think of, so I may have to face the fact that it's finally time to say goodbye.
