A Favorite to Cross-Process: Kodak Ektachrome E100G
written by weihsuan on 2011-08-09 #gearKodak Ektachrome E100G is a professional slide film from Kodak. Although quite well received for E-6 processing, I personally prefer to cross process it. Colors are not wildly shifted, just basically saturation and increased contrast. Do try this if you prefer the colors to be preserved and enhanced!

The Twin Lens Yashica 124G
written by weihsuan on 2011-07-12 #gearThe Yashica MAT 124G Twin Lens Reflex (TLR) camera is a fairly new TLR camera (made from 1970-1986). The lens on the camera produces stunning results and the convenience of a coupled needle-meter makes it a joy to use. It accepts both 120 and 220 film for 6x6 shots, so you get 12 or 24 shots on a roll of medium format film. G model has a all-black finish and gold-plated electrical contacts.

Lubitel 166+: The Camera that Does Two Formats with Accuracy
written by weihsuan on 2011-06-17 #gearThe Lubitel 166+ is an improvement over the Lubitel 166B or 166U. Not only did it inherit all the advantages of the 166U such as a sharp lens, full manual capability & double exposure ability; the Lubitel 166+ is also able to shoot 35mm film (with sprocket holes) as well as 120 film, a great improvement!
