EBS(exposing both sides of the film) filmswap with a great photographer fotobes. He shot on normal side first, then reversed the film and I shot on redscale side. Check out the lomohome of fotobes. http://www.lomography.com/homes/fotobes/albums/1984555-lc-a-plus-ebs-filmswaps-with-hodachrome. Also, check out my article about this tipster [How to Take Symmetrical Images with Exposing Both Sides of the Film (EBS)]. http://www.lomography.com/magazine/tipster/2013/01/14/tipster-how-to-take-symmetrical-images-with-exposing-both-sides-of-the-film-ebs

This lake was formed by a natural earthen dam after a large earthquake. Withered, skeletal trees stand in the lake. Love the view from here.

Interesting film: an Eastman Ektachrome motion picture slide film (coded 7239 - 160 iso), expired since 2005. The texture is grainy, but the colors are stiill great when x-processed! :)

Exposing both sides of the film (EBS). Around 15 - 30 seconds for negative side, 20 - 45 seconds for redscale side. Have a look at my article about this technique: http://www.lomography.com/magazine/tipster/2013/01/14/tipster-how-to-take-symmetrical-images-with-exposing-both-sides-of-the-film-ebs

  • Film soup experiment -redscale-

    shared by hodachrome on 2012-09-13

After shooting a film, take it into a dark room and open the film. Then sprinkle hot water filled with neutral detergent all around on the film, with flicking my fingers. Rewind it and put into a pan and pour water, and boiled it for about 5 minutes. Rinse and dry, and cross-deveop it. Done!

Rewind it and put into a pan and pour water, and boiled it for about 5 minutes. Rinse and dry, and cross-deveop it. Done! This psychedelic result is not what I expected. I will cook some more anyway =)
