  • My first attempt at DIY Redscale

    shared by fisher-price on 2012-07-26

I used Kodak Ultramax 400 film, but treated it as though it was a 200 since I was exposing the wrong side. I used a green filter on many of the shots and set the ISO to 100 to complicate for the loss of light this caused - it was a nice sunny day and so this was not a problem.

All the shots were underexposed and the camera seems to suffer from a light leek.

My 2nd roll with the LC-Wide, and only 30 shots into it do I realise I forgot to switch the ASA from 100 to 800. Came out better than expected, nevertheless!

Any of you who know me know that I love to experiment with different cameras and films. I was fortunate enough to purchase a few rolls of long expired Kodak Lumiere (LPZ100X). From what I can tell the film expired over 10 years ago. I didn't cross process this roll because I wanted to see how the colors came out with E-6 processing. I'm going to try crossing the next roll.

    shared by trw on 2012-08-05

In my never ending quest for cameras I finally saved up my piggies and bought an LC-Wide. It's a great camera, but it's going to take me a little time to get comfortable with the very wide angle of the shots. I kept getting unwanted poles, beams and the like in the frames even though they didn't show in the viewfinder. I love that this camera has different masks and allows for easy multiple exposures. I'm excited to use this camera more.
