Le médium photographique constitue un rempart au temps qui passe. Chaque brique est un souvenir et au fur et à mesure que nous voyons la vie défiler devant notre objectif, nous construisons notre passé en collectionnant des images de notre vécu. Le sténopé avec ses temps de pose longs tend à s'imposer comme le moyen ultime de capturer le mouvement du temps qui passe. Expérimentale, artistique, cette discipline nous fascine autant que vous et c'est pourquoi nous avions envie de vous proposer une petite galerie de photos réalisées par les membres de la communauté.
Back in June, Mike McLean (aka “Ogof”) and I discussed working together on a filmswap, however we were keen to try something a little different. We had always loved images created with pinhole cameras, and knowing Mike’s expertise with these devices, we agreed to attempt a series of swaps using one of Mike’s Noon pinhole cameras, and a Lomography LC-A 120. The medium format 120 was chosen as we felt at that stage that this would allow for a better chance of getting frames accurately aligned. Bleary-eyed confront Her beauty & so suddenly thrill breathless & radiant into wakefulness O! - Back & forth winds Her wobbled spine half burnished with Dawn-gold, the other half dusted with residual Night soon to bleed off as ever a cloud so swiftly does dissipate.

Beyond Her curvaceous peaks, beyond them valleys just grand ol’ green bathtubs a-wish-a-washin’ with splashy fog, beyond the dark & distant ridge so still, solid rock PLUNK some quiescent grump, a great crusty-backed ol’ turtle grumblin’ - just beyond, right there, is The Ocean.

Cool streams of white silk rush, eddy, launch foam tufts up & over there the dark ridge ascending. Even the slightest topographical change, a dip or jut or even yes the presence of a human body tho so small may nuance the flow, may twirl & ripple the fabric of a flowing cloud to let marbled gold columns shine thru, so that far below in green valley town the young adventurer looks up at the glint in the sudden wandering sunbeam & wonders - “One day when I’m Big, I’ll climb that marbling light like a ladder into them way-high clouds.”
