  • Odenwald - Berlin - Swap

    shared by guja on 2020-05-02

Here is my first film swap with the great @rolfmg. He exposed the film on his walks and bike rides through the Odenwald. For my part, I doubled the film on different walks in Berlin. I think there are a lot of very nice and interesting double exposures. @rolfmg used a Canon AE 1 and I used a Canon A1, we both exposed the film to ISO 200. Homeprocess in Rodinal 1 50 for 11 minutes.

Something was wrong with this film. At some pics there were shadows of the sprockets. Also the film film itself had some marks. But here it came out nice.

  • THE 8TH FILM ROLL | 30th April 2020 |

    shared by ansen on 2020-04-30

This film roll is made by OLYMPUS OZ10 PANORAMIC, I go around District 1 & District 3 in Ho Chi Minh City. Today is Liberation Day/Reunification Day – April 30, national flags are hung on this day. This film roll has a lot of famous destination in my country, especially in Ho Chi Minh City: Bùi Viện, Tú Xương, Pasteur Street, ... Hồ Con Rùa ( Turtle Lake ), Nhà Văn Hóa Thanh Niên ( The Youth Culture House), Dinh Độc Lập ( Saigon Norodom Palace ), Nhà Thờ Đức Bà ( Saigon Notre-Dame Cathedral ), Bưu Điện Thành Phố ( Saigon Central Post Office), Nhà Hát Thành Phố ( Saigon Municipal Opera House ), Bến Nhà Rồng ( Nha Rong Habour )... I also visit my high school - Trung Học Phổ Thông Nguyễn Thị Minh Khai ( Nguyen Thi Minh Khai High School, my university - Đại học Kiến Trúc Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh ( University of Architecture Ho Chi Minh City ). By motorbike, Honda Dream, you can see it in my photographs, I started at 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm for ending 1 film roll haha. The first time I have used a film roll like it, so fast. But I think some frames I must take again because of photobombing, it's difficult to do street style photography when a car or motorbike suddenly came across. Happy a Liberation Day <:

  • I Would Tell You if I Wanted to

    shared by honeygrahams224 on 2016-10-18

First attempt shooting with Infrared Film. I used a Red 25 filter throughout. I don't think it was sunny enough for me to get that cool "IR effect" that a lot of people get, but I am happy with how the grain and tones of the film turned out. I followed Film Photography Project's instructions to shoot at f16 in bright light. I have a few more rolls, so I will get some practice in.

Took some pictures on a sunny and bright June day using my Zenit Helios lens. I am officially in looooooooove... look at that buttery, swirly bokah! Mmmwah. The only downside to using this lens is that if it's a really bright day, you need a shutter speed of 1/1000th or more so your images aren't burned-out. I would also recommend using a low ISO film, such as an ISO 100 or 50

A few pictures I took of a friend this winter. I used some very old "homelife" brand film, which I suspect is actually Konica. It was very difficult finding days with enough direct sunlight to take good double exposures this winter, as it seemed overcast for months straight. I usually use very expired film, so I need all the light I can find.

Not a very interesting photo, but look at how brilliant the reds stand out from the snow while using Agfacolor film.
