5 - 7 August 2011 Formed in London in 1962, The Rolling Stones is an English rock band originally composed of Brian Jones (guitar, harmonica), Ian Stewart (piano), Mick Jagger (lead vocals, harmonica, guitar) and Keith Richards (guitar, vocals). Bassist Bill Wyman and drummer Charlie Watts completed the early line-up. Mick Taylor, Ronnie Wood, Daryl Jones and Chuck Leavell also joined at some point in the band's evolution. While R&B and blues cover songs dominated the Rolling Stones' early material, their repertoire has always included rock and roll. Through the years ephemeral pop fashions have come and gone but The Rolling Stones's music stays popular and relevant which according to a critic is due to them and their music being rooted in traditional verities, in rhythm-and-blues and soul music. This album is one of my series of lomographic tributes to this cult classic rock and roll band.

Captured these portraits of young people in seaweed, seahorse and jellyfish costumes during Makati's Caracol Festival along Ayala Avenue. The parade had not started during my shoot. Paraders were still being positioned and photographers were having a great time doing pictorials with various groups.

Our transport from Davao to Digos and vice-versa was a longer-than-usual-built-for-the-rough-road jeepney that picked us up from the airport. Its size and strength amazed me - being able to support 30+ passengers with 30+backpacks inside and over the roof. Our first destination was Shoe Mart to shop for our camping supplies like food and butane. We stayed overnight in Digos. On the first day of the climb, we were brought to the jump off point after registration and securing permits.

Creepiest place I have ever been to! Overgrown cemetary. This place has been the site of much unrest. Half the cemetary was uprooted when the airport was built. The previous owner committed suicide when it was found out people were being buried on top of each other, not in the right spot, and not deep enough. Earlier this year they found someone dead in the grass. A delapitated funeral parlor sits on the property as well.
