This photo was taken backlit in the early morning, making the flower appear shadows by focusing on the object's shape rather than the object's color.

Dippemess is a tradition which dates back to the 14th century. At that time, the Maamess, as it was then called, was a medieval market for domestic articles. Potters from the Westerwald, Kannebäckerland and Urberach came here to sell their wares, especially their ceramic bowls and pots. These were known in the Frankfurt dialect as 'Dippe' from which the event soon took its name. Over the years, more and more fairground booths and popular attractions joined the market as well. The Dippemess today is Frankfurt’s largest fair and a lot of fun :)

Underexposed multi layered photo. I can imagine there is a true sense of wonder and isolation soaring above the clouds in a baloon looking down on Earth. There are a lot of reasons this lomograph is one of my favorites. It is my most popular lomograph. It is a double exposure and I love doubles. I also love hot air balloons and hope to one day ride in one.

Dolphins are swimming in the early spring sky. Shot dolphins first at an aquarium. After finished whole a roll I set it again into LC-A and then start shooting at an amusement park. There are only a few nice results and this is the best one. Tough challenge but worth trying :)

I did again the sharp vs unsharp double shots. this time from the balcony on the 14th floor of a building in berlin kreuzberg where you can go up if you're lucky if door is open. shots taken with an AE-1 and tele and my common Canon 300EOS - the difference is visible. they turned out great again. anyway on some the tele did a bit too much bokeh. ah yes, and there are a few from gleisdreickpark again. you can see my first try here: http://www.lomography.com/homes/bloomchen/albums/2030874-the-sharp-and-out-of-focus-double-series

… and find out for myself how hard it is to create the perfect EBS-mirror-image. Duplicating the same framing wasn't too hard, but something went wrong with the film realignment (causing the redscales to shift to the right). Better luck next time! Oh yes, there will be a next time! Developed in Rollei Digibase C41: http://www.lomography.com/magazine/tipster/2013/05/20/tutorial-rollei-c41-digibase-color-film-development
