week 35: ciao venezia

after spending two beautiful days in trieste (you can read all about it here: ciao trieste) my sister and i went to venezia by train.

venice is a really beautiful and fascinating city, but OMG – so many people/tourists! especially the popular places, like the “piazza san marco” and the “ponte di rialto” are just overcrowded. they do look impressive, but it’s much better off the beaten track.

although i think that there exist far too many photos of venice already, i just had to take a lot of pictures too :)
these are the ones i made with my simple point-and-shoot-camera. it wasn’t as sunny in venice as it was in trieste, so the ones with the agfa ct precisia 100 turned out great:
