Rotting picnic bench

As we sat in the garden having barbecues, sunbathing and chatting with family I would look down at the weather warn bench and desperately try to keep myself from picking at it (as was the temptation).... This may not look like much, but something so small and seemingly insignificant can yield a surprising depth and breadth of fond memories.
