Sky Hooks

These pylons connect directly to storm clouds (just out of shot). The cables are held in place using 'sky-hooks'.... Our town has been powered by harnessing lightening since 1987.... A technology which is still proudly boasted to this day..... Wider uptake within Europe and USA has been negligible due to concerns over safety and sustainability.................................Or is it just a pretty picture of what is otherwise a blot on the landscape? :-)
