Wacken Backstage
shared by wil6ka on 2016-02-10Once upon a time I was a backstage reporter at the ultimate heavy metal festval of Wacken. We slept in nightliners and went straight to work. The intensity was great especially at their very own newcomer cpompetition Metal Battle. The Faroer and the Asian bands from HK and Japan were fierce: https://vimeo.com/108774165 https://vimeo.com/103330531

Dark and Grainy
shared by alienmeatsack on 2016-02-10I upload everything, even the bad results. Why? So you can see that not every roll is perfect or works out. This roll for example was a new roll of Provia that I held onto since September of 2015 just so I could develop it in E-6 chemicals. It decided to get wonky and turn into mush, and I got dark blue grainy negatives. Rmemeber, being a Lomographer is about enjoying the art of taking photos. And not all of your shots will be good or even come out, but that is not what matters. What matters is enjoying yourself along the way. Sure, I lost a roll here, but I got 4 others the same day all good. And I enjoyed the day. So it was a win.

Venetian Adventures Part 3: Venetian Life.
shared by meitads on 2016-02-03A good part of the weekend consisted of getting lost in Venezia's maze of sepia alleyways, and in that process discovering how Venetians conduct their daily activities. One thing that I never have thought before was how multicultural the city is; within the short trip I met residents coming from various parts of Italy, the UK, Ireland, Mongolia, America, Bangladesh, Poland, and Costa Rica; all embracing the simple lifestyle of the beautiful city.

shared by clickiemcpete on 2016-02-09We took two trips out the North Adams last week. Mass MOCA was closed the first day so we found the Hoosac train tunnel and toured the area. Next visit we hit the old boiler room and the museum areas. Fun days! The GR21 is an amazing P&S camera and the heavy grain of the Ilford 3200 made for a neat look.

SWAP - @fartstorm VS @alienmeatsack - Expired E6…
shared by alienmeatsack on 2016-02-08Another mind bending film swap between myself and @fartstorm, this is a roll of very expired 3M Imation color slide film rated at 1000 ISO. I had wondered what it would look like when processed as E-6 since we'd done it cross-processed already. So I shot over his frames and it stat for months while I saved up enough slide film to make mixing up my E-6 kit worth the trouble. This past weekend I finally did so. The initial positives were so light that I thought I'd not get anything off of them, but I was wrong. #Silverfast to the rescue! Thanks to it's adjustment capabilities, I was able to bring the images out of the film. And these very Lomography feeling shots are the result of our labors. It was so long ago I have no idea what camera I used, but maybe @fartstorm remembers on his end. Enjoy.
