Stone Bridge - the first stone bridge in Yekaterinburg through Iset River. Built in the years 1840-1844 by the architect E. H. Sartorius, it has the status of historical and architectural monument of federal importance, is at the Malyshev Street. The bridge is laid out from rubble limestone and granite. For durability, the masonry of all bearings, including metal piles, and two powerful stone bull support semicircular arches in the riverbed. The architectural design of the bridge was completed in 1841: at the ends 4 installed stone pillars, obelisks and fencing made of iron forged lattice with 17 stone pedestals. In the 1950s, with the start-up trolley on Malyshev Street was reconstructed and covered with asphalt roadway pavement and bridge replaced the lattice. But on the whole face of the bridge has not changed its forms and perfectly complements the ensemble of the Historic Square in the city center.
