Whether you're a tourist or a local, being at the heart of a festival is a chance to learn about a country's history and culture. For this challenge, we want to know what it feels like to be a part of these big, lively gatherings. Whether you've been to Brazil's world-famous Carnival or Thailand's solemn Loi Krathong, allow us to experience these huge festivals and celebrations through your vibrant travel photographs.
Each participant may submit up to 10 photographs. This competition serves as the qualifying round for the Breaking Boundaries category.
